What this app is for

The objective of this app is aimed at fostering consensus and harmony on issues that affect the well being of human society and shall be used as such on any topics or issues the user may think relevant to this end (e.g., social, political, economic issues or policies; international, national, local, and personal conflict resolution and prevention; public and personal safety concerns; consumer products or experiences; discovery or know how; art and entertainment; ethics and wisdom; right or wrong, good or bad principles; justice and law; liberty and freedom; health and happiness; personal traits or habits; or anything can better your life and others in the same time).

What it can do and how to use it

Each user can post (a text, voice, photo or video by tapping ‘+’ sign) and vote on others’ postings (by tapping the thumb up or down sign) and the voting result will be displayed immediately above the posting (the user can change his or her vote on a given posting anytime, however each user can only have one vote on a given posting, re-voting will overwrite one’s previous voting). It is our hope that the voting/polling results may, just may, subtly shape public opinion and foster consensus towards common good.
You can search the postings with a keyword by tapping the ‘ ’ sign.

The user can delete his or her posts anytime (by tapping ‘x’ above the post) if one chooses to do so.

Why I should use it

Unlike other social networks where the user’s posts can only be seen by his or her followers or social circle, posts on this app can be seen by all users instantly. However, the user can limit what he or she wants to see by entering a topic of one’s interest in the ‘My Preference’ field in the profile page (if nothing is entered, all posts will come through).

As such, the usefulness of this app is only limited by one’s imagination. For example, one can use it for anonymous polling or survey; broadcasting one’s talents, inventions, advocates, opinions, concerns; sharing knowledge and experiences; reporting lost or found, fire, accident, etc. Users can put a tag, e.g., NYC or GM in their posts to allow users to search/filter for all the posts pertaining to New York City or GM.
